Workplace Violence Policy
(CA)

Summary

This template is a workplace violence policy that California employers may use not only to inform employees of their employer's commitment to maintaining a safe working environment, but also assist the employer in defending against claims for injuries caused by workplace violence. This template includes practical guidance, drafting notes, and an optional clause. This template is intended for private employers. Employers may include this policy in an employee handbook or distribute it as a standalone policy. It is based on California and federal law.
