WARN Act Compliance Checklist

This checklist will help you address and comply with the key issues of the federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN), 29 U.S.C. 2101, et seq. WARN requires employers to provide written notice at least 60 calendar days in advance of covered plant closings and mass layoffs. Some states have mass layoff and plant closing laws that have different and/or stricter requirements than WARN.
