This practice note discusses when translations are required for documents filed on the System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval+ ("SEDAR+"). SEDAR+ replaced the System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval or SEDAR on July 25, 2023. The majority of the practice note covers the requirement to translate English documents into French when raising capital in Québec or doing business in Québec. It also briefly discusses when documents are required to be translated into English.
