Sexual and Other Workplace Harassment Guidance for Nonsupervisory Employees: Training Presentation (CA)

Summary

This is a presentation to provide sexual and other workplace harassment training to employees in California in accordance with SB 1343 (Cal. Gov. Code §§ 12950 and 12950.1), which mandates one hour of training for California employees at any employer that has five or more employees anywhere, even if they do not work at the same location and even if not all of them work or reside in California. Time spent training must be paid time. (Note also that employers with five or more employees must provide two hours of training to management employees by January 1, 2021, and every two years thereafter.) Effective January 1, 2024, AB 547 imposes additional and more specific training requirements on covered janitorial employers, which include any person or entity that employs at least one covered worker or otherwise engages by contract, subcontract, or franchise agreement for the provision of janitorial services by one or more covered workers.
