Summary

This checklist sets forth the steps for filing a confidential treatment request (CTR) under Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Rule 83 (17 C.F.R. § 200.83). Rule 83 provides a procedure by which a person submitting information to the SEC can request for the information to be withheld from requests made under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
