Summary

This practice note discusses an employer's representation management petition for election (RM Petition). The RM Petition serves to hold an election to test whether the union has the support of a majority of the employees, and the employer can also use it to challenge whether the union has correctly drawn the circle around a "bargaining unit" of employees it can represent.
