Summary

This release of liens releases a Pennsylvania property from liens that may have been filed or future claims by the contractor or subcontractor. This template includes practical guidance, drafting notes, and optional clauses. The release must contain an affidavit signed by the contractor and notarized and is to be filed with the prothonotary in the county where the Pennsylvania real property is located.
