This notice is a buyer’s notice to a seller that it is rejecting the seller’s goods as nonconforming to the parties’ contract. This template includes practical guidance and drafting notes. The notice is provided pursuant to section 2-602 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), which provides that to avoid acceptance of nonconforming goods tendered or delivered under a contract of sale, the buyer must notify the seller of its rejection within a reasonable time after delivery or tender.
