Summary

This template is a proposed order for a temporary restraining order (TRO) or preliminary injunction. This template includes practical guidance, drafting notes, and an optional clause. Submitting a proposed order with a motion is required in New Jersey Superior Court under N.J. Ct. R. 1:6–2(a), N.J. Ct. R. 3:1-4, and N.J. Ct. R. 4:42-1(a)(4) and (e). This template can be modified for either a TRO or preliminary injunction, as your case needs.
