Producer Agreement (Television Program) (Loan-Out)

Summary

This template is a producer loan-out agreement between a television production company and a producer's loan-out company. The producer assumes broad production responsibility, furnishing their services through their own production company. This template includes practical guidance and drafting notes. The role of the producer of a television program combines business and creative elements. The producer is generally responsible for hiring the production crew, the technical crew, and obtaining the necessary services and facilities for the production. In some instances, the producer may hire the writer, director, and cast. Since producers assume many responsibilities, they often have their own production companies which may assume production responsibility or may simply loan out the services of the producer to another production company.
