This practice note discusses the Owner-Architect Agreement (Architect's Agreement), which is a written document covering the professional services to be performed by an Architect in connection with the design and construction of a building project (Project). The Architect is one of the first parties to be engaged by a project owner or developer (Owner), and, for that reason, the Architect's Agreement is one of the first documents to be prepared and negotiated in connection with a Project.
