Summary

This checklist can be used to guide attorneys in determining the order for claim distributions in Chapter 11 cases. This chart provides an overview of certain claims under Sections 363, 364, 503, 507, and 726 of the Bankruptcy Code. The dollar amounts listed in certain subsections in Section 507(a) are for cases commenced on or after April 1, 2022. These amounts are adjusted based on cost of living changes every three years. 11 U.S.C. § 104.
