Summary

This practice note tracks the provincial and regional notices and practice directions of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice that are applicable to civil, Divisional Court, and Small Claims Court matters. The notices are organized by region and in reverse chronological order of effective date, since 2020 up to present, each providing notable legislative changes and/or a brief description. Counsel and parties are advised to read the notices in conjunction with the relevant parts of the Consolidated Notice to the Profession, Consolidated Provincial Practice Direction, Consolidated Practice Direction for Divisional Court Proceedings, provincial and region-specific practice directions and notices.
