Summary
This precedent is a notice of protest of a promissory note where the protest is for non-acceptance or non-payment of a note payable generally or at a stated place. A protest is a declaration made by a notary that contains a copy of the note, is signed by the notary and specifies, among other things, the person who requested the note be protested, the place and date of the protest, and the cause or reason for the protest.
