Lobbying Disclosure Act Registration Checklist (Federal)

Summary

This checklist assists attorneys and others in the process of determining if a company or organization, under the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 (Pub. L. No. 104-65), is required to register as a federal lobbyist. The Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 (LDA), as amended by the Honest Leadership and Open Government Act of 2007 (Pub. L. No. 110-81), requires all active registrants to file quarterly activity reports with the Clerk of the U.S. House of Representatives and the Secretary of the U.S. Senate.
