Limiting Distance Agreement
Summary
This precedent is a form of a limiting distance agreement. This precedent contains practical guidance and drafting notes. A limiting distance agreement can be entered into between landowners (or a municipality) to address building separation requirements in the provincial Building Code, O. Reg. 332/12. Limiting distance agreements allow a landowner to build closer to the property line than would normally be permitted under the Building Code.
