Letter to Prospective Client in Advance of Business Pitch
(NY)

Summary

This template is a letter to a prospective client to be sent prior to a business pitch. This template includes practical guidance, drafting notes, and alternate and optional clauses. Too many litigators follow the same game plan when offered an opportunity to meet with a potential client to pitch for business. They will assemble a few available partners, and possibly a senior associate, and load the firm's generic slides on a laptop. Instead, you should send out a letter like this one to the prospective client prior to the meeting and customize your pitch. For more by Ronald J.
