Interconnect Agreement
(Pipeline and Storage Operators)

Summary

This template is an interconnect agreement between a pipeline operator and storage operator and is used to connect a storage facility and pipeline system together by jointly constructing and operating interconnecting and metering facilities. This template includes practical guidance, drafting notes, and alternate and optional clauses. This interconnect agreement may be drafted with interstate or intrastate pipeline and storage service considerations. For the purposes of this agreement, the pipeline operator and storage operators both own, operate, and maintain NGPA Section 311 facilities, meaning they may own/operate intrastate facilities, but the same feed into interstate pipelines or companies that utilize interstate pipelines.
