Injunctive Relief in FINRA Arbitrations

Summary

This practice note discusses the procedures for seeking injunctive relief in arbitrations conducted under the Code of Arbitration Procedure for Industry Disputes (Industry Code) of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (FINRA). Disputes between or among FINRA member firms and/or their associated persons that arise out of the "business activities" of a member or an associated person must be arbitrated by a FINRA arbitration panel in accordance with the Industry Code.
