Federal Trade Commission
(FTC) Organizational Chart

Summary

This chart depicts the organizational structure of the Bureau of Competition at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which is FTC's division responsible for enforcement of the antitrust laws. As discussed in DOJ/FTC Merger Investigation Process practice note, the FTC staff lawyers in each "Division" investigate proposed transactions and make recommendations to the Director, Deputy Director(s), and ultimately the Chair and Commissioners regarding whether or not to take any enforcement action with respect to a proposed transaction.
