This checklist sets out useful tips to establish factual and legal sufficiency of pleadings in a personal injury claim. Pleadings are required to include all material facts to the hearing and the prohibition against pleading evidence and law. Some items set out in the checklist include considering whether the facts in the pleading accurately describe the parties, determining whether the pleading contains a concise statement of the material facts giving rise to the claims of the plaintiff and identifying each cause of action set out in the pleading.
