Summary

An incentive typically found in the mezzanine tranche for a Leveraged Buyout, not a traditional Senior Secured Credit Facilities, that allows a Lender to purchase a portion of equity in the Borrower at a nominal price usually in exchange for offering the Borrower below market interest rates or better terms.
