Summary

This template is an employee classification policy that classifies employees into certain categories for purposes of specifying which employees are covered by particular policies and/or eligible for certain benefits. This template includes practical guidance and drafting notes. Defining these terms in the handbook will remove ambiguity and better enable an employee to determine what terms and conditions apply to them.
