There are many ways a drone may assist the planning, design, and construction of a heavy-highway or green energy construction project. For contractors building vertically, drones offer less assistance. This practice note discusses drone uses for contractors during construction of a heavy-highway, solar, or wind energy project and explains the limited assistance for vertical construction such as multi-housing projects.
