Discovery Plan Checklist

Summary

This checklist provides counsel with practical tips when preparing a discovery plan. Discovery plans must pertain to documentary discovery (Rule 30 of the Rules of Civil Procedure, R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 194), examination for discovery (Rule 31), inspection of property (Rule 32), and examination for discovery by written questions (Rule 35). Discovery plans may also pertain to any physical or mental examination of a party whose physical or mental condition is in question in a proceeding (Rule 33).
