Summary

This survey addresses state laws that require employers to provide a day of rest and/or premium holiday pay. Some states including, among others, Georgia and Massachusetts, have so-called blue laws, which prohibit employers from forcing employees to work on Sundays or, in some cases, another habitual day of worship.
