DOL Wage and Hour Investigation Checklist (Opening and Closing Conferences)

This checklist identifies areas for consideration during the opening and closing conferences of a United States Department of Labor (DOL) wage and hour investigation. At the inception of its wage and hour investigation, the DOL must conduct an opening conference. If, at the conclusion of its investigation, the DOL intends to issue findings of back wages due, it must also conduct a closing conference.
