Use this template to communicate to participants and beneficiaries of defined contribution plans to notify them about the growing threat of breaches to plan cybersecurity and to advise them as to what steps to take to mitigate the risk of cybertheft of their plan assets and, potentially, their personally identifiable information. Educating participants about cybersecurity is an important defense against cybercrime. This form contains practical guidance and drafting notes.
