Customer and Supplier Credit Risk Resource Kit

Summary

This resource kit provides an overview of options for protecting customers and suppliers of a debtor both prior to and during a Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding. After a bankruptcy filing, the debtor will typically attempt to compel the creditor to continue shipping and rendering performance, including possibly continuing to supply on pre-petition credit terms, during the course of the bankruptcy case. However, the debtor will also likely need to maintain amicable relationships with certain key vendors/suppliers or customers that are important to its ongoing business.
