Summary

This chart provides the credit rating categories of S&P Global Ratings (S&P), Moody's Investor Services (Moody's), and Fitch Ratings, Inc. (Fitch) for general purpose long-term debt (i.e., obligations with an original maturity of one year or more) issued by non-financial corporations, financial institutions, structured finance and project finance vehicles, and public sector entities. The chart also provides descriptions of the ratings and characterizations of an obligor's creditworthiness for each rating category.
