Summary

The closing checklist is a document typically prepared by the lender that lists all the loan documents and other closing documents that the lender will require in order to close a construction loan transaction. In addition to listing the documents, the closing checklist will also indicate the parties responsible for drafting or delivering each document, the signatories of each document, and the status of each document. Lender will periodically update and circulate the closing checklist to all transaction parties prior to the closing of the loan.
