Cash Dominion (Banking & Finance Glossary)

The requirement in an Asset-Based Loan facility that a Borrower maintain LockBox Accounts and directly apply any cash deposits therein to repay outstanding loans. Often Borrowers are not subject to Cash Dominion until the occurrence of a trigger event (usually the occurrence of an Event of Default or Availability falling below a negotiated threshold), upon which Cash Dominion springs into effect.
