This template is a COPPA Privacy Policy disclosure notice that operators of online services or mobile applications can provide to their users to address the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). This template includes practical guidance, drafting notes, alternate clauses, and optional clauses. The policy uses simple, easy-to-read, casual language to ensure that users, including parents and/or legal guardians of children under age 13, understand the types of personal and Usage Information that the online service or application collects from its users, how such information is used, and whether it is shared with third parties.
