Summary

This checklist identifies key issues and questions to consider for providing consumers with the ability to opt-out of the sale or sharing of their personal information in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA). Under the CCPA/CPRA, consumers have a statutory right, at any time, to direct a business that sells or shares personal information about the consumer to third parties not to sell or share the consumer's personal information. Cal. Civ. Code §1798.120(a).
