Bill of Costs (Sample) (BC)


Summary

This precedent is a sample bill of costs that includes the costs and disbursements incurred with respect to a personal injury proceeding. The amounts included relate to all stages of the proceedings, including discovery and negotiations. With regard to disbursements, taxable and nontaxable amounts are included as are medical and expert reports and records. This precedent includes practical guidance and drafting notes. If you are entitled to your costs of the action as, you must prepare a bill of costs using Form 62 of the Supreme Court Civil Rules, B.C. Reg. 168/2009 ("Rules"). Appendix B of the Rules also gives you important information about preparing your bill of costs.
