As-Extracted Collateral (Banking & Finance Glossary)

Summary

A type of personal property and a category of Collateral defined in Article 9. It includes oil, gas or minerals that are subject to a Security Interest created by (a) the Borrower’s interest in the oil, gas or minerals before they have been extracted, or (b) accounts arising from the sale of such oil, gas or minerals before their extraction.
