Summary

This template is an anti-harassment policy used by Kentucky-based employers. This template includes practical guidance and drafting notes. The Kentucky Civil Rights Act (KCRA), Ky. Rev. Stat. § 344.010 et seq., protects employees from discrimination, retaliation, and harassment. Ky. Rev. Stat. §§ 337.420–337.433 prevent discrimination based on gender in the wages or salary of employees. The Kentucky Equal Opportunities Act, Ky. Rev. Stat. § 207.130 et seq., protects employees with physical disabilities and individuals with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) from discrimination. This policy covers key topics for anti-harassment policies including, among others, prohibited harassment, reporting policy violations, and enforcement. This template is intended for private employers and may be included in an employee handbook or distributed as a standalone policy.
