Anti-Bribery Clause


Summary

This clause is an anti-bribery that sets out the obligations with which the supplier must comply, such as implementing "adequate procedures" to prevent bribery. It requires the supplier to comply with the requirements of anti-bribery legislation as well as the specified anti-bribery/corruption policies and ensure that the personnel, subcontractors or others associated with that party also comply with such obligations to prevent bribery. This clause includes practical guidance and drafting notes. As drafted, this clause assumes that the customer has specific anti-bribery/corruption policies with which it requires the others to comply. These should be specified in the definition of "Internal Bribery Policies".
