Summary
This template is an amendment to a revocable trust agreement. Use this template to amend the terms of an existing Georgia trust agreement without creating a new agreement. This template includes practical guidance, drafting notes, alternate clauses, and optional clauses. In Georiga, a revocable trust must include provisions allowing the settlor(s) to amend or revoke the terms of the trust agreement, otherwise, the settlor(s) shall not have such authority. See Ga. Code Ann. § 53-12-40. Prior to executing this template, the attorney should review the trust agreement to ensure that the amendments being made are permissible.
