Amendment to Escrow Instructions

Summary

This amendment to escrow instructions template is a written amendment to a set of escrow instructions that can be used by either the buyer or the seller to modify either separate or joint escrow instructions. This template includes practical guidance and drafting notes. This template should be used when the parties intend to change the terms of instructions that have already been submitted. Supplemental instructions should be used (see Supplemental Escrow Instructions) when the parties intend to instruct the escrow holder on matters not covered by previous instructions.
