Document Requests
(Single-Plaintiff Discrimination Action) (Plaintiff to Defendant)

Summary

These document requests will assist plaintiff's counsel in identifying and drafting requests for production of documents to a defendant-employer in a discrimination action brought by a single plaintiff. It is intended for plaintiffs suing private employers. These document requests are based on federal law and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and do not address all potential state law distinctions or local court rules. While this template will be useful in preparing document requests in state law actions, you should check any relevant state and local discovery laws and rules. This template contains drafting notes, alternate clauses, and optional clauses.
