Summary

This practice note address contracts for the provision of goods or services. Contracts where the primary purpose involves the sale of goods are among the most prevalent, and important, to world commerce. A services agreement, in contrast, is an agreement between a customer and a service provider pursuant to which the service provider (which may be an individual or a business entity) agrees to furnish the customer with a service in exchange for agreed-upon compensation.
